Individual Membership of
The Institute of Professional Executive Drivers
Membership is granted to any person who, on application, is recommended by a member of the institute and satisfies the board of governors that: They have been engaged full time as a security practitioner for at least three years, and meets the required standard of knowledge and capability as set by the institute. Or, that they are a member of a similar or other professional body as may be approved by the board. To apply for membership please contact the Institute in the first instance. Admission to member category is normally by examination and relevant experience, it is accepted, however, that applicants who have proven their ability through long experience may be exempt from the examination.
Corporate Membership of
The Institute of Professional Executive Drivers
The primary focus will be to represent the views and interests of Corporate Members. Members will have access to practical advice, information, education and a range of facilities. Corporate Membership is open to all sectors. The following summary highlights our initial focus for corporate members: Support, Advice & Guidance, Promoting your Organisation, Your views: gathered, passed on & expressed Continuous Professional Development for Management & Staff. Looking Ahead: Corporate Members will be the driving force behind this initiative with the support and facilities available through the Institute. Plans include researching the benefits of areas such as group insurance discounts, pension schemes and health insurance. Specialist sub-committees are proposed with a view to providing advice and support. Workshops on marketing, tendering, use of the internet, employment, finance and compliances are envisaged to take place to allow members to be leading, well-informed, quality driven companies.
